Are the chakras real?

If you had asked me a few years ago if the chakras were real, I would have said: “I don’t know”. After hundreds of appointments with both in person and remote clients, I can tell you that your energy field is real.

What are Chakras?
Chakras are energy centers in the body, derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “disk.” They are often represented as spinning disks of energy that correspond to various physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being.
They usually correspond to your glands, your third eye corresponds to the 3rd eye, thyroid to your throat chakra etc.The chakra system is rooted in ancient Indian traditions, particularly within Hinduism and Buddhism, and is believed to have originated between 1500 and 500 B.C.

The Chakra System
There are seven main chakras, each located along the spine and associated with specific organs, emotions, and spiritual functions. These chakras are thought to influence our overall well-being and energy flow. When chakras are open and aligned, they allow for the free flow of energy, or prana, which is essential for physical and emotional health.

Muladhara (Root Chakra): Located at the base of your spine, it is associated with grounding and survival, finances and having feelings of safety and belonging.
Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra): Located in your lower abdomen, it relates to creativity and emotional balance, creativity, sexuality and pleasure.
Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra): Found in the upper abdomen, it governs will power and confidence.
Anahata (Heart Chakra): Located at the center of your chest, it is linked to love, forgiveness and compassion.
Vishuddha (Throat Chakra): Found in your throat, it is associated with communication and self-expression.
Ajna (Third Eye Chakra): Located between your eyebrows, it relates to intuition, perception of the unseen and insight.
Sahasrara (Crown Chakra): At the top of the head, it connects to the divine and enlightenment.

Importance of Chakras
Balancing the chakras is believed to enhance physical health, emotional stability, and spiritual growth. Practices such as yoga, meditation, and specific breathing techniques are often employed to help align and open these energy centers.
Understanding and working with chakras can lead to a deeper awareness of oneself and promote holistic well-being.

What is your Luminous Energy Field?
According to my teacher, Alberto Villoldo, the Luminous Energy Field (LEF), often referred to as the light body, halo, or aura, it is a concept that describes a subtle energy field that surrounds and permeates all living beings. This field is considered like a bubble that not only envelops the physical body but also organizes and informs it, much like how a magnetic field influences iron filings.

Characteristics of the Luminous Energy Field
Translucent and Multicolored: The LEF is described as a translucent, multicolored matrix that extends beyond the physical body in all directions. It reflects the individual’s emotional, mental, and spiritual states.
Information Storage: Like a hard drive, your LEF is believed to contain information about personal traumas, wounds, and life experiences. These experiences leave an energy imprint can affect the overall health and vibrancy of the field.
Connection to Chakras: The LEF is closely linked to your chakra system, with each chakra influencing the energy flow within the field. Imbalances or blockages in the chakras can dim the radiance of the LEF, impacting overall well-being. Chakras are related to the endocrine system and the neighboring organs.

Why is your LEF Important as part of your in healing journey?
In various healing practices, particularly in shamanic traditions, the Luminous Energy Field is a focal point for addressing emotional and spiritual issues. Techniques such as Illumination Healing aim to clear negative energy imprints within the LEF, helping to restore balance and enhance the quality of the energy field.

Once the stagnant energy imprints are dislodged individuals experience a sense of lightness and expansion. As your inner landscape shifts, so does the world outside of you.
Working with your Luminous Energy Field can lead to greater self-awareness and holistic health, it promotes wellness not just at the physical level but also the emotional and spiritual dimensions.
