What is dense energy or Hoocha?

Let’s explore the concept of heavy energy

What is Hoocha?

Hoocha, also spelled as Jucha, is a word in the Qechua language that relates to “heavy energy.” In the Inka tradition, it refers to a type of energy (known as “kausay”) or light (sami). Heavy energy is associated with stagnation or blockages, while light energy flows freely and is considered harmonious that is considered heavy or dense. This concept is often associated with spiritual and energy medicine practices in Andean cultures.

What are the symptoms having Hoocha?

Here are some common manifestations:

Experiencing Emotional Distress: You may experience feelings of sadness, anger, or frustration. This emotional heaviness can be linked to unresolved issues or past traumas.

Physical Symptoms: fatigue, tension, or unexplained pain.

Spiritual Blockages: You may feel disconnected from your spiritual self or experience a lack of clarity in your life purpose. This can lead to a sense of stagnation or being “stuck.” Simply “you don’t feel like yourself” or like something is “off and can’t put your finger on it”.

Behavioral Changes: Self-destructive behaviors, such as substance abuse or harmful actions towards oneself or others.

While “Hoocha” is not a clinical term, it can be associated with emotional and spiritual challenges that may affect your overall well-being. Recognizing these signs can help you to address the underlying issues and seek balance.

We all pick up Hoocha going about our daily lives and it is nothing to be afraid of. I get a few energy healing sessions per year from my shamanic practitioner friends to keep my field clear.

In times of sudden change or after experiencing a trauma it can feel like a breath of fresh air to receive a healing session.
